RISE Team Members, Eric Rohli and Kaylen Bryan, to Participate at the Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) in January 2021
San Diego, CA (November 20, 2020) – RISE team members, Eric Rohli and Kaylen Bryan, will be presenting their AI/ML work for RISE at the Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society (AMS101) this coming January. Their papers, titled, “Prediction of River Stages along United States Inland Waterways using Deep Neural Nets”, which discusses RISE’s AI-based River Predictions and Analytics Tool (RPAT), and “Near-term forecasting of Water Reservoir Storage Capacities using LSTM” , which discusses a Deep Learning-based water reservoir level prediction model as part of the Drought and Reservoir Informatics and Prediction System (DRIPS), will be part of the 20th Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Environmental Science at the 101st AMS Meeting.
