San Diego, CA (September 23, 2020) – The Small Business Administration (SBA) San Diego District Office has awarded Trabus Technologies the 2020 SBA District Director’s Award for Business Growth in the Technology Industry. We are honored to receive this award today, as it recognizes our efforts and achievements as a small business in the regional tech industry of the San Diego and Imperial Counties. We would like to thank Mr. Jeff Glover, SBA Commercial Loan Officer at SOUTHLAND Economic Development Corporation (EDC), for the nomination.

This week is officially National Small Business Week (NSBW). For more than 50 years, the SBA has celebrated NSBW as a way to recognize the inspiring achievements of America’s small businesses and the countless contributions they make to our local communities and our nation’s economy. This week shines a spotlight on the 31.7 million small businesses that create nearly two out of every three new jobs in the United States each year. As part of NSBW, the SBA will highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and those who support entrepreneurship by hosting community events all across the country, including the 2020 SBA & SBDC Small Business Awards.

TRABUS Managing Director, Art Salindong, will accept this award during the live streaming of the 2020 SBA & SBDC Small Business Awards on Facebook and YouTube today beginning at 4:00 pm. This event will spotlight our community’s outstanding small businesses and their perseverance and ability to pivot and overcome adversity during these challenging times.
