TRABUS Receives Patent for Data Communication Using Interference Alignment
San Diego, CA (July 7, 2020) – The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued Trabus Technologies a patent for data communication using interference alignment. The inventor named on this patent is Dr. Frank Quick, TRABUS Senior Scientist. As a subject matter expert in signal processing and a pioneer of wireless technology, Dr. Quick has over 25 years of experience in cellular standards and communications engineering. Dr. Quick was a major contributor to the IS95 CDMA standard and has extensive experience in satellite communications and cryptography. Dr. Quick has led multiple R&D efforts at TRABUS, including recent innovations for blind detection of cellular uplink signals, detection of unknown spread-spectrum signals and a novel self-organizing ad hoc radio network with support for self-interference mitigation using interference alignment. With the addition of this new patent, Dr. Quick now holds 44 patents in wireless communications technology.
