TRABUS to Develop Predictive Models for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
San Diego, CA (October 18, 2019) – TRABUS recently received approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to develop a machine learning-based predictive model to resolve vessel traffic congestion and enhance vessel voyage planning along the navigation channels of the U.S. Inland Waterways and the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway. The data sources used to train artificial intelligence within these models includes a variety of historical and live environmental data, vessel traffic movement data, commercial vessel operating reports and geospatial data. This will be an upgrade to the analysis tool suite for the cloud-based River Information Services Enterprise (RISE) project being developed by TRABUS for the USACE!
